Bad Rock For The Ages
The guys who write for Corporate Mofo.com often kill me. Their latest piece, on 25 Albums That Should Not Have Been Recorded is some of their best work in a while.
In the meantime, reponses to the Presidential Primary Matchup Poll continue to trickle in. Come on, people, at least pretend that you care about the process of choosing the head of our country's government!

Oh, how incomplete. Where's Iron Maiden's "Somewhere in Time"? Judas Priest's "Turbo"? Guns 'n' Roses "Spaghetti Incident?" Man, they're not even trying.
The song "Baby on the Way" from Tom Arico is, however, one of the most glorious recordings ever made. It should be heard and cherished by all: http://www.tomarico.com/babycontest.htm

"Spaghetti Incident?" was a notable omission. In 12 tracks, it managed to capture (nay, showcase!) nearly everything that went wrong with Guns 'N Roses as they descended into fractured mediocrity.
I must give the author props for calling out Neil Young, though. That requires some courage. The net is full of crunchy hippies who can't even admit that David Crosby is a pervert, let alone that Neil Young's experiments fail badly on occasion.
