It has 4,008 guest rooms and a 100,000 square foot casino with table games, slots, video poker and video keno. The race and sports book is large and accepts wagers on a wide variety of events. Excalibur is connected by a tram to its sister properties, Luxor and Mandalay Bay. On the face of it, Excalibur looks like it was designed primarily for families with children. The arcade in the basement and the daily jousting event are both excellent entertainment for youngsters. The casino is surprisingly good, however. There are plenty of table games and the limits are pretty reasonable. After 1:00 AM or so, the casino can be a lot of fun. Be sure to check out the Krispy Kreme donut shop on the second level. You can watch the donuts being made and they come out hot and fresh. You haven't lived until you've had freshly-made Krispy Kreme donuts.
